Empire - Work in Progress

Some work in progress backgrounds for a motion graphic project I'm a part of. Wanted to add these here to give an idea of what my process is like.

In the actual painting stage. Colours and the contrast have pretty much been laid down. The foreground still lacks any details.

Greyscale contrast pass.

More in depth greyscale stage. Trying to balance the contrast with the low contrast environment.
